How It Began

It all started back in our home country, where we would host regular gatherings with our extended family and friends. Making amazing food for the guest using traditional methods. When we to the UK, it was a natural choice for us to get into the hospitality business. We spend months creating a Mediterranean-inspired, comforting, inviting and unique atmosphere. Every detail, from the intricate hanging lanterns to the vibrant colours with a modern twist, added an unexpected touch of culture and character, and finally, we opened our doors to the lovely people of Huddersfield. Istanbul Restaurant is more than just a dining destination - it's a place where people gather and connect.

The time had come to create a menu that was unique and unforgettable. After months of experimenting, we perfected a traditional Turkish style with modern European influences. Our food is cooked over charcoal or wood fire grills and stone ovens, the traditional way of cooking in Turkey. We perfected our marinades and seasoning blends that give each dish its own distinctive flavour.
